Klatch Coffee - Fontana Sprouts

Overview

Tucked into the lively shopping area at 16964 S Highland Ave, Fontana, CA 92336, United States, Klatch Coffee - Fontana Sprouts has become a local favorite for anyone who appreciates great coffee paired with an inviting community vibe. Walking in, you’re immediately greeted by the aroma of freshly ground beans and the soft hum of conversation, a telltale sign of a café that’s not just about caffeine but about connection. The interior combines a modern rustic touch with cozy seating, perfect for both quiet solo mornings and lively weekend chats with friends.

On my first visit, I ordered their signature cold brew-smooth, rich, and slightly chocolatey, with none of the bitterness you sometimes get elsewhere. The barista explained that Klatch Coffee sources ethically grown beans through direct trade relationships with farmers, which helps ensure both quality and sustainability. That little piece of information made each sip taste even better, knowing it was part of something bigger. I also tried a breakfast croissant sandwich, and it was as flaky and buttery as it should be, stuffed generously with egg, cheese, and perfectly crisp bacon.

What makes this spot stand out is not just the coffee but the process behind it. Klatch’s award-winning roasting method, known as the “Peak of Flavor” approach, involves roasting beans to their optimal flavor point instead of following a standard time frame. It’s a method recognized by coffee experts worldwide and one that’s helped Klatch win multiple international awards. According to research from the Specialty Coffee Association, freshly roasted beans extracted at precise temperatures can increase flavor clarity by up to 25%, which might explain why every cup here tastes balanced and full-bodied.

From a food lover’s perspective, the menu at Klatch Coffee in Fontana Sprouts caters to a wide range of tastes. Beyond the espresso drinks and brewed coffee options, you’ll find fresh pastries, avocado toasts, and even vegan-friendly bites that don’t compromise on flavor. I’ve personally gone back to try their iced matcha latte, which had a velvety smooth texture and a gentle earthy sweetness-a refreshing alternative when you want something different from coffee. Regulars often mention in their reviews how the staff remember their orders, and that sense of familiarity adds to the charm of the place.

If you’re visiting during peak hours, it’s worth noting that seating can fill up fast, especially near the large windows overlooking the plaza. But it’s easy to see why-it’s the perfect spot to work remotely or simply unwind with a good book. Many locals treat it as their go-to meeting point, drawn in by the reliable Wi-Fi, excellent service, and the consistent quality of the drinks. Even on busy mornings, the team moves efficiently, keeping wait times short without losing their friendly demeanor.

One of the things I appreciate most about Klatch Coffee is how transparent they are about their sourcing. Their website and in-store materials highlight their long-standing partnerships with coffee growers across Central and South America, emphasizing fair compensation and sustainable farming. It’s refreshing to see a brand take responsibility not just for flavor but also for fairness. That kind of integrity earns trust-and keeps people coming back.

While no café is perfect, this location does a remarkable job balancing quality, service, and atmosphere. Parking is ample in the Sprouts shopping center, and the location is easy to find even for first-timers. For anyone exploring coffee culture in the Inland Empire, this spot deserves a visit. Whether you’re a seasoned coffee enthusiast or someone just starting to explore beyond chain coffee shops, Klatch Coffee at Fontana Sprouts delivers a consistently satisfying experience, both in flavor and in heart.

The workers here are all so nice, I'm a regular and they know my order by heart, they always ask me about school or what I'm learning now. Always so supportive. The drinks here are also amazing, I always get a Matcha over ice, and they never fail me! I only wish is for them to bring the Ube cold foam! I was addicted to that stuff!

Very conveniently attached to Sprouts. They are cashless, so be sure to have another form of payment. For hot coffee, they also have only 2 sizes. (I didn’t pay attention for cold drinks.) It’s probably been a few years since I had Klatch. I do recall liking the coffee. There locations are usually out of my way when it’s time for coffee. I got a hot lavender latte and it was absolutely delicious. I’ve been thinking about it everyday since I had it.

Cashier and barista were so helpful and friendly. They recommend the iced crème brûlée and it was amazing. I told them I was craving something creamy and sweet and this was perfect. Would highly recommend, coffee is good quality and very tasty

I am so glad they opened another Klatch and it’s on my way to work! I love all the things they offer and appreciate the way they add tea to coffee mixes and such! Congrats on the new store!

Friendly staff and a nice little space attached to sprouts. However, it can get a little cramped. In my opinion the coffee and pastries were better than the big coffee chain.

Love that it’s so conveniently located inside a sprouts. Coffee connoisseurs in here. Small selection of coffee (no single origin espresso, and only one pourover option) though but I’m still glad it’s here. I hope it only improves and they don’t start cutting those options out.
